Katherine was practically born with a love for travel and adventure. Her father is a pilot and had his pilot’s license before even having his driver’s license! Her paternal Grandmother was also a pilot and as such, was a member of the 99’s (an organization of female pilots) following in the footsteps of Amelia Earhart who was just 13 years her senior. Wanderlust has been passed down through the generations.
Katherine had her first passport stamp at the age of 9 and by the age of 20, had traveled to a dozen different countries. She brings with her twenty years of experience leading group tours and destination travel. Her experience in customized trips ranges from a historian-led small group to the POW Camp in Umbarger, Texas for a marketing campaign to a two-bus large group of middle-schoolers in a world-renowned children’s choir touring Ireland.
Where in the world has Katherine been? Singapore, Canada, Scotland, Ireland, England, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, Monaco, Jamaica, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, and Haiti. She’s also been to some outlying territories including the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, and Puerto Rico and the list is growing!
